USUE and SamSU are reliable partners
The meeting took place during the working visit of Yakov Silin and Ekaterina Yalunina to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Universities have already been interacting for several years under the signed cooperation agreement. Representatives of SamSU have repeatedly visited Yekaterinburg: they were guests of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, took part in research-to-practice conferences and other events organized by USUE.
During the meeting, the parties summed up the results of the work done on developing double degree programs, academic exchange of teachers and students, discussed the opportunities for internships for students of both universities, and the participation of the SamSU delegation in the XII EEYF to be held in Yekaterinburg in April 2022.
Rector of Ural State University of Economics, Yakov Silin, said that cooperation would continue and would be implemented through a working group on agreements.
SamSU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Muxtor Nasirov noted that Samarkand State University had established mutually beneficial cooperation with the leading universities of the Russian Federation and that such positive relations with Ural State University of Economics would benefit the education system of the two universities.
