USUE - Leader in Support of Employment of Graduates

The results of monitoring the activity of the centers for the graduates’ employment promotion in 2016-2017 academic year have been summed up. The USUE Office for Interaction with Employers within the Human Resources Department took the first place in the rating of the university centers.

For the first time, our University took part in the rating a year ago. Then it took the fifth place among the universities of the Sverdlovsk region, leaving behind Ural Federal University, the Ural State Mining University, and others.

 "The Office for Interaction with Employers was established at the Human Resources Department only two years ago. In a short period we achieved high results, performing the role of the coordinating center for cooperation with employers," Svetlana Dolzhenko, the head of the USUE HR Department, notes.

The activities of universities were evaluated by several areas:  

• Use of the website of the Office for Interaction with Employers;
• Presence of the Office group in social networks;
• Individual work with entrants, students, and graduates on their efficient behavior in the labor market;
• Development of methodological materials on the lines of activity;
• Publications on the activities of the Office (in printed, TV, and electronic media, and on radio);
• Informing students and graduates on job-placement activities held in the region;
• The Office’s  activities on temporary employment of students;

Participation of the Office in joint activities with employers, public authorities, non-government organizations, and other centers.
