At Omsk State Technical University, Roman Krasnov held talks with the OmSTU rector Anatoly Kosykh and with the first Vice-Rector Dmitry Mayevsky, as well as with the Vice-Rector for Extracurricular Activities and Social Affairs Olga Kuznetsova. These meetings will result in the signing of a cooperation agreement, including international activities. The USUE Faculty of Pre-university Training for foreign citizens is ready to receive those foreign students to study Russian who want to enter the OmSTU Radio Engineering Faculty and Transport, Oil and Gas Faculty.

The second part of the visit was devoted to Dostoevsky Omsk State University. OmSU is the only university in the Omsk region that trains high-skilled personnel in a number of specialties. The university graduates are in demand in the labor market as evidenced by almost one-hundred-percent employment. At OmSU, Roman Krasnov met with the head of the department of planning and organizing OmSU international activities Alexey Sorokin. There was also a talk about teaching Russian to foreign students at the USUE Faculty of Pre-university Training for foreign citizens for their further study in Omsk. It should be noted that OmSU trains specialists for the chemical industry, engineers, lawyers and media communication and international business professionals. Today, citizens of Europe, USA, Japan, China, Mexico, and the CIS countries study at Omsk State University.
