USUE took part in the Regional Forum Ural Territory of Quality. Foods
February 20, Kamensk-Uralsky hosted the first regional forum "Ural Territory of Quality. Foods". The organizers of this event were the Ministry of Agriculture of the Sverdlovsk region, the Administration of the Kamensk-Uralsky, the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ural State University of Economics.
A welcoming speech was delivered by the head of Kamensk-Uralsky Alexei Shmykov. The message of his speech was an address to the food and processing industries enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region to increase the production of local products.
Andrei Knyazev, head of the department of food and processing industry, reported on the results of the agro-industrial complex of the Sverdlovsk region development in 2017.
The event consisted of two parts. In the first part, the USUE faculty and students (I.Makarova, N. Kolberg, V. Solovyeva, E. Yalunina, E.Shatskikh, L. Aleshina, T. Gulova, G. Sharafutdinova, M. Adushkina, T. Guseva, P. Novozhilov, students of groups 16-03 K and 17-02) and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Sverdlovsk region (Andrei Knyazev, head of the department of food and processing industry, Elena Valova, chief specialist, Ekaterina Maksimova, lead specialist) performed an analytical expertize of food quality and determined consumer preferences.
Irbit Milk Plant, OOO Partner , OOO Partner-1, OOO Molochnaya Blagodat, OOO Krasnoufimsk Dairy Plant, OOO Novopishminskoe, Slobodoturinsky Dairy Plant " Nadezhda”, PAO Kamenskoye, IP Bratchikov Alexander Valerievich, IP Zelenov Oleg Yurievich, Kamensk-Uralskiy Khlebokombinat, Pervouralskiy Bakery Combine , Multiprofile Power Systems, OOO Kudelka, OOO Tonus-Plus, Rezhevskiy Bakery, and Sysertsky bakery took part in the contest and presented their products at the exhibition for tasting by forum participants.
In the second part of the event, there was a roundtable "High performing organization of interaction with suppliers of food products". The speakers were S.Tikhonov, chair of the USUE Department of Food Engineering, ("Prospects for the Use of Ionizing Radiation in the Food Agricultural Industry "), N. Kohlberg, Director of the USUE unified laboratory complex ("New Methods of Quality Management with Children's Dairy Products"), V.A. Voronov, vice-president of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry ("On the Experience of Agricultural Workers Consolidation "), and A.Makarov, vice-president of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry ("Interaction of Food Producers with Stores and Retail Chains).
The forum has become a platform for the integration of science, government, and business on which the search for new regional growth areas depends. Such events contribute to the development of a new model of stakeholder interaction on the ways of building an innovative economy.
