USUE expands cooperation with universities in France
October 4, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rennes 1 (France) Prof. Eric Avenel met with USUE top management to discuss the possibility of expanding cooperation and to work out the application for a joint project.
From USUE the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Rogozhin, associate professor at the Department of Public and Municipal Administration, director of international programs Marina Vidrevich, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration Natalia Vlasova, and others.
Rennes 1 has received a grant from the government of Brittany to prepare a project application.
It will be recalled that on June 14-15, France hosted a partnership meeting of universities from Germany, Armenia, Russia, Belgium, and Serbia. The meeting discussed the issues related to business environment and innovative training tools. The meeting was organized by the Department of International Affairs of the Faculty of Economics at Rennes 1.
We would like to note that USUE is a member of the consortium for the preparation of the application under Erasmus+ project. The essence of this project is to disseminate the experience of European countries in open digital education using the example of entrepreneurship training programs.
According to Marina Vidrevich, at the meeting, the parties discussed how to implement the project, «In addition to meetings, we work online, fill out the documents relating to Ural State University of Economics. In October, USUE again is going to France to discuss all issues. The application must be ready in February.»
In addition, the parties agreed to hold video conferences, exchange students and teachers, and to implement joint scientific research.
