USUE is waiting for students from Lebanon
USUE became a participant in the international project of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation - “Discovering Leading Russian Universities with the Russian House in Beirut”
Today, representatives of USUE, the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Lebanon met at a videoconference. The university management and heads of departments presented the advantages of USUE as one of the leading universities in the region to the representatives of the Lebanese Republic. These are a variety of training programs, including those in English, as well as the readiness of the university to provide comfortable conditions for all international students. Today, there are more than 3,000 of them studying at USUE. Yet another big plus is the developed infrastructure of Yekaterinburg, the Ural capital.
“The Preparatory Faculty for Foreign Citizens provides training in eight areas: economics, medicine, humanities, and technical sciences,” Roman Krasnov, USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, explained. “Its graduates master the Russian language, including scientific terminology within the chosen specialty, and then they can enter the bachelor’s or master’s degree programs at USUE, as well as at any other university in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus. This is the basis of their future career success, which they could achieve both in Russia and upon returning to their homeland.”
Dmitry Nazarov, head of the Department of Business Informatics presented high-tech areas of study: Information Security and Business Informatics, which year by year attract more and more students from Russia and abroad. Tatyana Sysoeva , associate professor at the Department of Marketing and International Management , noted areas with an international component: Internet Marketing, International Management, and Marketing and Advertising.
