Today, the branches of the National Council operate in 7 regions of Russia. On their basis, companies conduct joint events, exchange experiences and share common practices. 30,000 corporate volunteers are active participants in socially significant events in the cities and regions where companies are present. This platform, which unites representatives of more than 30 active domestic and international companies, is already a reliable partner of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in implementing the block of activities for the development of volunteerism in the corporate sector.

The volunteer community is built on employees’ self-organization and any form of voluntary participation of employees in solving social problems is welcomed: from money investment to the implementation of an independent project. We can say that this work is organized according to the principle "We give opportunities, not gifts," the speaker explained.

According to Dmitry Galenkovsky, HR director of Uralelectromed, the company has programs of corporate volunteering for the improvement of territories and environmental actions. Volunteers help veterans, take part in city mass events, assist in the work of animal shelters and conduct other programs. The powerful production facilities and a systematic approach to "social" investments allow the enterprise to pursue a comprehensive social policy, both inside the plant and in the territories of its presence.
Along with the existing programs of corporate social responsibility, Sverdlovsk Railways has successfully implemented corporate charity projects.
Following the results of 2017, the Ministry of Transport and Road Development awarded the Sverdlovsk Railway with the II place in the nomination "Best Beneficiary of the Sverdlovsk Region".
