Contest of projects on financial management at USUE
Today, Ural State University of Economics hosted the X student interdisciplinary contest "Formation and Implementation of Financial Policy of Economic Entities". The organizer was the Department of Financial Management.
Among the invited experts were Vice-President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alexander Makarov, Deputy General Director of the Industry Development Fund of the Sverdlovsk region Alexander Kazakov, Chief Accountant of SINARA Group Sergei Sidnev, official of the Federal Tax Service of the Sverdlovsk region Galina Vechtomova , Deputy Director for Economics of the RTI factory Igor Butakov, and director of the USUE Institute of Finance and Law Maxim Maramygin.
The students of FM-14 group presented their projects for a number of economic entities: Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant, Reftinskaya Poultry Factory, UralElektroMed, Irbitsky Dairy Plant, and Talitsky Dairy Farms.
The chair of the Department of Financial Management Elina Zakirova welcomed the participants and guests of the contest, "The interdisciplinary contest is a specialty of our department. We invite leading experts and specialists of the Ural region to evaluate the work of our graduates who enter the labor market. During the year, we teach students how to justify a financial policy and how to defend their point of view. For six months, our students are preparing their projects, working directly with enterprises, formulate economic recommendations, and take it all out for the final defense of their projects. "
Maxim Maramygin expressed the hope that the projects will both give new knowledge to students and will be useful for business, "Many thanks to all who accepted our invitation and came to jury our students, new professionals, who, I hope, will enter the market and make it better." He also wished the participants good luck and successful joining the professional community.
Alexander Makarov thanked Elina Zakirova for the systematic work, "You managed to make the department be a “star”. It is nice that you work both with students and with business community and experts. This inspires respect." He also addressed the students, "Not everything from what is taught at the university could be used immediately. The students who filed the best projects will receive privileges upon admission to the master’s courses, the opportunity to find employment at leading enterprises, and full marks at the examination.
