Lecture for USUE students from the director of the Talent Development Center of Ural Bank of Sberbank of Russia
April 10, at Ural State University of Economics, a public lecture was delivered by the director of the Center for Talent Development of the Ural Bank of the Sberbank of Russia Andrei Tukh devoted to the current topic “Learning and Development”. The lecture was attended by the students majoring in Personnel Management, Management, International Management, and Marketing.
Sberbank is currently one of the most advanced financial institutions of the domestic banking business in many ways due to the innovative development that was adopted by its management more than 10 years ago. This goal was achieved thanks to an efficient system of personnel training and development.
In his lecture, Andrei Tukh spoke not only about the tools that Sberbank used in the system of their staff training, but also about the role that an HR- unit played in a modern organization. According to the speaker, a student who chooses for himself the professional path of a specialist in HR management must constantly think of his/her development, of the need to train oneself and help with the training of others.
One of the most interesting was the topic "New tools for training and development of personnel." According to Andrei, business education is increasingly being gamified (acquires game elements), digitalized, becomes more and more bite - sized (segmented into short elements), and all the more blended.
At the end of the lecture, Andrei answered a question from the audience about which organization is the most advanced, "The best is always an organization in which you are: the company you work for, the university where you study."
The quality of the event and the content is best proved by applause at the end and feedback from students. So, according to Natalia Baranova (group UP-15-1), "it was interesting today to find out the current trends in staff training from a specialist with vast experience in the field of HR. Since Sberbank is one of the leaders among banks in Russia, it can be safely asserted that the methods we have been told about are undoubtedly efficient and proven in practice. Many thanks to the leading specialist of the L&D department for his lecture! ».
Artyom Irgibaev (group MM-16-2) agrees with this point of view, "Very interesting modules were touched upon. On my own, I would like to praise the speaker himself, he perfectly understands everything in his material and he explains it quite easily and with examples, just for students."
This lecture was the first of a series of master classes of Sberbank representatives, which was organized by HR -directorate of the Ural Bank and the USUE Department of Labor Economics and HR Management.
