USUE has launched a course on management practices for NPO Avtomatiki trainees

Today, Ural State University of Economics launched a program for advanced training "Management practices: planning and forecasting techniques at a modern enterprise" for trainees of NPO Avtomatiki. Within a few days, its department managers will systematize knowledge and expand competencies.

At the opening of the program, welcome speeches were made by USUE Rector Yakov Silin, Deputy General Director for HR and Social Policy of NPO Avtomatiki Aleksey Glazkov, USUE Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Sergey Rogozhin, and Director of the USUE Higher School of Corporate Education Alla Golovina.

Yakov Silin noted that this was not the first cooperation of the University with major industrial enterprises, "I would like to believe that the united efforts of NPO Avtomatiki and Economic University will bring good results. We have established contacts with many industrial associations. We train specialists for civil services, defense enterprises, food plants, and others. We will become stronger if we unite."  The Rector also called on all to participate in the construction of teaching activities and to be active participants in the educational dialogue.

Aleksey Glazkov welcomed the participants of the program on behalf of the General Director of NPO Avtomatiki Andrei Misyura, "To be a successful leader, you need to have certain skills. We have been working with USUE for a long time and we have many joint plans in terms of training. Many things depend on you: you are the leaders now and will be them in future. In order to be perspective and successful, it is necessary to know how to properly organize the work, how to manage processes, and motivate employees. This course is small but it will become for you a deep immersion in the management process."

It should be noted that this program was developed by USUE Higher School of Corporate Education following the request of NPO Avtomatiki top management in the framework of the agreement signed earlier. The program includes nine modules aimed at forming managerial competencies: economic analysis, planning, setting goals, organizing the work of a unit, motivation, and others.
