The project Young professionals of the country has been launched at USUE
USUE hosted the presentation of the youth interregional project "Young professionals of the country". The program is being implemented by the public organization "Russian Management Community" with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
The organizers of the project and students discussed the possibility of improving the quality of professional training of young specialists before employment or internship, focusing on the needs and expectations of an employer.
Alexei Dziovov, chairperson of RUS, explained to the USUE students that, as a participant in the project, each of them would be able to undergo training, would receive a "Certificate of Project Participation", and would have a chance to enter the talent pool of the Russian management community.
Participants will take part in trainings, roundtables, business games, distance course "Project management", prepared by Moscow experts, and meetings with potential employers. With the support of RUS, each of the students will create his/her own management project, through which one can present oneself as a specialist.
Alexei Devizov noted that in this way the project "Young professionals of the country" will create a system for supporting the first employment of young people, graduating from secondary professional and higher education institutions. "At the same time, it is expected, on the one hand, to bring young specialists to the level required by a particular organization, and on the other, to find talented and promising employees, which are necessary for the employer," the chairperson of RUS said.
It should be noted that USUE is the first university in Sverdlovsk region, where this project has been launched. Previously, it has already been successfully implemented in Bashkortostan, Orenburg region, and Tyumen region.
As the Head of the USUE Division of Interaction with Employers Elena Ovsyannikova said, this program was in line with the University's policy to promote the employment of graduates, so the University was pleased to accept the offer of cooperation.
"This initiative is to enable students while studying to have as many contacts with potential employers as possible, the opportunity to supplement theoretical knowledge with practical skills, including through project activities. The project "Young professionals of the country" is one of such opportunities, that's why we gladly agreed to become the basic university in Yekaterinburg to implement this program," Elena Ovsyannikova said.
The organizers noted that participation in the project is free and the number of participants is not limited as yet. Currently, 21 students have already announced their desire to participate. The admission will end late February.
