The scheduled meeting of the organizing committee of the IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Asia-Russia-Africa: the Economy of Future" was devoted to clarifying the lists of invited experts, speakers, contest leaders, and organizing events for participants of all age categories – high school seniors, students, and young scientists.
Members of the Presidium of the Free Economic Society of Russia, leading scientists of Russia, expressed their desire to participate in the forum. Among them, there are Ruslan Grinberg, Mikhail Gorshkov, Margarita Ratnikova, Alexander Dynkin, Dmitry Sorokin, and others. Some of them will make presentations and deliver lectures in the framework of the plenary session.
Besides, the University expects the arrival of scientists from the universities of Italy, Hungary, Germany, Montenegro, Sweden, China and other countries. The colleagues from leading universities of Lithuania, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Russian universities expressed great interest in discussing the stated topics. In addition, an agreement was reached with the representatives of the special economic zone "Titanium Valley", the Central Bank, and the World Bank.
Traditionally the work of the forum will be conducted in five areas: the Congress of Financiers, the Congress of Economists, the Congress of Service Technologies, the Congress of Innovators, and the Congress of High School Students. Within these blocks, 24 events will be organized at various venues, six of which being fundamentally new in format and content. All of them - from international contests of young scientists and students projects "Logistics of Goods Distribution" and "Food Security" to the Tax Olympiad or the "Project Laboratory of Financial Literacy" - will contain scientific and applied "stuffing".
It will be interesting for foreign participants to assess their competence and level of knowledge in the international contest of youth initiatives "Financial Policy" or the competition of projects "Cross-border Financial Legal Relationship of the EAEU Countries". They will need to draw parallels between the regulatory framework of their state and the Russian laws in the field of finance, taxes, and law. A blockchain "Technologies in Solving Financial Problems" and the interactive program "Territory of Financial Literacy" will also attract a lot of attention of guests and forum participants.
IX Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Asia-Russia-Africa: the Economy of Future " will be held in Yekaterinburg from April 17 to 20, 2018. Registration of participants on the EEYF website will begin on January 26.
