In a warm atmosphere, the graduation ceremony was held at USUE faculty of pre-university training for foreign students. All the graduates achieved great results.
USUE Rector Yacov Silin and Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov welcomed the graduates.
"You did a great job: came to a foreign country, mastered a foreign language, culture, and traditions. It is interesting, but not easy. Once you come here and want to receive an education, then you are looking into your future. The preparatory faculty is only the first step. We hope that your stay at our University was useful for you. We will be glad if you stay with us at USUE", Yakov Silin addressed the graduates.
The foreign students have received course attainment certificates from the hands of the Rector.
For five years, the faculty of pre-university training for foreign students carries out additional educational programs in Russian for their further studying at universities of the Russian Federation. Within 10 months, students are intensively studying the Russian language, and subjects that are needed when entering a university (history of Russia, mathematics, and social studies).
"Among the tasks of the faculty, there are teaching the Russian language and general studies, facilitating adaptation in a new socio-linguistic and cultural environment, and acquaintance with the national customs, traditions, and culture of Russia," USUE Rector Yakov Silin noted.
The graduates thanked the leadership of the University and teachers for their help during the training. "We are glad we arrived in Russia, in Yekaterinburg, and at USUE. Here we were warmly received, so I would like to continue my education here," Digbe Gossi Meggi Fabiehnn said.
We would like to remind that students from 38 countries of the world are trained at the University and each year their number grows. Already over 30 foreign citizens have submitted applications and are waiting for an invitation to USUE.
