MUTUAL CO-OPERATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES GO ON
USUE Rector Yakov Silin met with Suleiman Anta Ndiaye, minister-counsellor, head of the economic department of the Embassy of Senegal in the Russian Federation. At the meeting, they discussed some issues related to cooperation between USUE and the Republic of Senegal.
"Getting to know your university was a discovery for me. I would like our universities to build trust-based relations," the minister-counsellor said.
Yakov Silin noted that students from 12 countries of Africa studied at Ural State University of Economics, and one of them was from Senegal. In Russia, they all feel at home: they are ready to learn and participate in the cultural and sporting student life.
The minister and the rector discussed the possibility of concluding an agreement on cooperation between universities in various areas, including a meeting with the rector of Dakar University, the exchange of students and postgraduates, and holding cultural and sporting events. The interaction of universities also involves joint research and publication of scientific works.
