The State Duma proposed to prohibit import of alcohol, cosmetics and household chemicals into Russia.

The head of the party "A Just Russia" Sergei Mironov proposed to expand the food embargo in response to the tightening of the sanctions regime against our country by the US and EU. He acknowledged that the ban on the import of alcohol may hit the lovers of high-quality gin and whiskey. “This is an unreasonable proposal,” Maxim Maramygin, Doctor of Economics, thinks.

The food embargo against the EU, the US and several other countries was introduced three years ago.
