The SINH History Museum was established in 1988 on the basis of the Military and Labor Glory Hall of the University by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute.
From the first day of its creation, the museum was actively engaged in development of its exposition with systematic search for information and it participated in the social and scientific life of the Institute-University: organizing conferences and issuing a literary almanac. Meetings with veterans of the Second World War were regularly held at the museum.
At the end of April, 2017, the museum acquired its modern look: there appeared new exhibition floors, modern media equipment, and showcases. The presentation of the material has changed, which now comprehensively captivates students of the home university and develops their general culture, so necessary for success in life after graduation. The museum conducts quests and arranges excursion programs, supports and cooperates with the search group "Honor and Memory". The museum, like the entire modern world, is open to new ideas and diverse cooperation.
