More than 200 people will take part in the regional meeting of search groups in Yekaterinburg

The meeting of the Urals Federal District regional activists of the «Search Movement of Russia» opened at Ural State University of Economics (USUE) in Yekaterinburg, the press service of the university informs.
More than 200 young search groups’ members and commanders will take part in the event.
According to Igor Kholmanskikh, the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Urals Federal District, the Search Movement of Russia unites more than 42,000 searchers from of 1,248 search groups. I.Kholmanskikh awarded Letters of Appreciation to the best members of the search groups.
«The Search Movement is a public organization but its work is of national importance. Identified names and destinies of nameless heroes, raised remains of soldiers and officers — the significance of all these for future generations cannot be overestimated,» the Rector of the University Yakov Silin said.
