A time capsule for the 2043-year descendants was laid at Ural University of Economics

The ceremony of laying down the time capsule with the message of students, faculty members, and veterans to descendants of 2043 was held at USUE (Ural State University of Economics), the press service of the university reports.
The event was held as part of the traditional holiday "Pride of USUE ".
"We did not dare to look into the rapidly changing future for 50 years ahead, so we wrote a message for a 25-year period," Yakov Silin, Rector of Ural State University of Economics, said.
The two-page message was placed in a capsule of a special alloy, in which the address of USUE students - Komsomol members of 1968, written by them half a century ago, had been kept. It will be stored at the University Museum.
In addition, 130 best students were awarded for active participation in cultural, scientific, public, sports, and leisure life of the University. Students' achievements in the field of student self-governance and volunteering were also recognized (about 20 nominations in total).
