The power of mind: Yekaterinburg hosts UFD Chess Championship

Almost five hundred young chess players from all over the Ural Federal District came to the tournament in Yekaterinburg. The competitions are held in the Recreation Center of Ural State University of Economics.

Albert Stepanyan, executive director of the Sverdlovsk region Chess Federation, "These are the qualifying competitions for the Russian Championship, the Ural Federal District Championship among boys and girls under 13, and teeners of 15, 17, 19 years old".
