USUE and Federal Treasury are creating a new masters degree program

Ural State University of Economics and the Federal Treasury Department (FTD) for the Sverdlovsk region signed a roadmap for the preparation of the master's degree program "State Financial Regulation: Audit, Control, and Supervision" in specialty 38.04.09 "State Audit". Signatures under the document, which is the continuation of the cooperation agreement of 2013, were put by the USUE Rector Yakov Silin and head of the regional FTD Aleksei Panteev.
As the USUE press service reports, the roadmap provides for the establishment of the program, which will be more practice-oriented and include applied disciplines necessary to work in state and municipal bodies. This will allow the University to attract additional funding at the expense of interested employers.
"We need specialists not only in the field of economics, but also in the field of financial control. Although today we are talking about state financial regulation, the knowledge that graduates will receive in this course will be applicable not only to the civil service but also to entrepreneurship.
