For several years, the USUE women's basketball team takes part in the student's Super League from the Association of Student Basketball (ASB). Participation in games of this level is an indicator of the prestige of a team. 300 teams from all over the country participate in the Super League, and Ural State University of Economics is not the least.

Today, students of Ural State University of Economics, who are actively engaged in science, received awards from the USUE Rector Yakov Silin. The contest "The Best Group in Research" was crowned with the honoring of 12 academic groups that made an invaluable contribution to the development of student research in our University.

The USUE Rector Yakov Silin and the director of the Ural Regional information center (RIC) of TASS Maria Kartuz signed the agreement on cooperation between the University and TASS news agency.

Yesterday, the students of the USUE Department of Public and Municipal Administration met with the second secretary of the Yekaterinburg Foreign Ministry Office Ramil Shamsutdinov. The meeting was held by Vladimir Sulimin, lecturer of the department, Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.

For several years, the Council of Young Scientists has been successfully working at Ural State University of Economics. The Council assists in the formation of a dynamic research environment based on self-organization and initiative of young scientists and specialists of the University.
