April 12, the USUE Department of Physics and Chemistry organized and conducted an educational and scientific KVN-like game dedicated to the 57th anniversary of the first human flight into space. The game was attended by students of three first-year groups of the USUE Institute of Trade, Food Technologies and Service.

April 12, the XX regional final of the contest of candidates of the Youth Public Organization "Sverdlovsk Regional Student Team" was held, in which 18 members of different teams took part.

Having made an excellent military career, Mikhail Pyatkov has succeeded in civilian life as well. 15 years before retirement, to be exact up to his 75 years, he was in charge of the HR service at USUE-SINH.
