February 19, USUE hosted the Checkers Championship as part of the annual Universiade among higher educational institutions of the Sverdlovsk region.

On February 18, the selection stage of the VII annual Univision interuniversity vocal competition for non-professional performers was held in the Event Hall of the Ural state University of Economics. In 2020, there are even more participants, but out of 80, 12 participants will go to the final gala concert.
