October 11, Ural State University of Economics signed an agreement on cooperation with the Union of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of Sverdlovsk Oblast. it was signed by acting rector Vladimir Kuligin and president of the Union Anatoly Filippenkov.

The first round of the International Student Olympiad "Economics and Management" began at St. Petersburg University of Economics. Participants answered questions, performed tests and solved mini-cases in the areas of sections and according to results reached the second stage.

October 11, at Ural State University of Economics, Rector of the University of Duna?jv?ros (Hungary) Istvan Andras met with USUE top management. The Hungarian colleagues became acquainted with the University and agreed on establishing horizontal links.

USUE ecological club «Atmosphere» took part in the national campaign for revival of vegetation «Native Forest». Young nature lovers bedded out dozens of future apple, pear, plum, larch, and cedar trees. The trees will be looked after by the pupils of children’s environmental center of the Palace of Youth.

More than 200 schoolchildren from Yekaterinburg came to Ural State University of Economics to make a decision on their future professions. October 11-12, the University runs the city vocational guidance project «Pro-Debut: Covering the City».
