February 1, USUE Rector Yakov Silin and members of the USUE Council of Young Scientists Olga Ergunova, Ivan Antipin, Ekaterina Kaibicheva, and Alisa Titovets took part in the meeting of the Council for Strategic Development of Yekaterinburg. At the meeting of the Council, the revised draft of the Strategic Plan for Yekaterinburg Development until 2030 was considered.

January 31, graduation ceremony of NPK Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) employees was held.

The purpose of the Council is an expert analysis of sectoral and cross-sectoral strategies for the development of the Sverdlovsk region, as well as strategies for municipalities’ socioeconomic development. The initiator of the Council establishment was the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of the Sverdlovsk region.

Recently, the USUE food production facility gained a confectionery shop with the production of a wide range of confectionery and pastries. Tantalizing desserts and sweets with vanilla eye-popping names not only ruthlessly tempt students and teachers: the "sweet" business brings a considerable income to the University.

Tomorrow is February 1. This is the period by which school leavers must decide on the choice of subjects for Unified State Exam. To select subjects of the Unified State Examination is necessary for all those who are going to continue their studies at universities.
