Students of the Preparatory faculty for foreign citizens of the Ural state economic faculty got acquainted with the traditions of the new year celebration. The festive event was held at the USUE house of culture and brought together young people from 32 countries.

On December 21, 2019, in the dissertation council D 212.287.02 (technical sciences) at the Ural State Economic University, theses of Victoria Vyacheslavovna Gomboeva were defended on the topic “Commodity and technological characteristics of the meat of foals of the Yakut breed” and Vladislav Mikhailovich Tiunov on the topic “Formation of the quality of flour culinary gluten-free flour products and a diet based on them."

The Hero of the Russian Federation, Guard Senior Lieutenant Dmitry Vorobyov spoke to students of Ural State University about the generation bridge, love for homeland and his attitude to new reforms in the Russian economy. The meeting was held as part of the patriotic project "Heroes Are among Us."

At the Recreation Center, the meeting of USUE rector Yakov Silin with foreign students of all USUE institutes and the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens took place.

Six staffers of the research laboratory of the Unified laboratory complex (ULC) of Ural State University of Economics received a certificate of professional development in the program “Development, promotion and implementation of additional professional programs under the requirements of professional standards”.
