USUE and Art School for Children No. 5 of Yekaterinburg have released a collection of children's drawings dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The collection includes 20 thematic works of students of different ages.

On the eve of Victory Day, the poems of Konstantin Simonov and Alexander Tvardovsky sound at the University dormitory. They were read by students who came from China, Iraq, and Egypt.

From 7 May 2020, a demonstration of the video-flash mob “Victory Waltz” organized by Ural State University of Economics starts on the air of the Regional Television (OTV).

Any historical event and war especially is reflected, as in a mirror, in the destinies of people. In addition to the preserved official documentary materials and newsreels, personal stories in photos become an important source of information about the events of the Great Patriotic War. The USUE Museum has prepared an exhibition of unique photographs of wartime Sverdlovsk from the funds of the State Archives of the Sverdlovsk region.
