In Yekaterinburg, the Variety Theater hosted a Woman of the Year awards ceremony. This award is implemented with the support of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and is aimed at identifying talented and successful women who have achieved significant success in their activities and contributed to the creation of conditions for the socio-economic development of Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk Region.

At the Culture Center of Ural State University of Economics, they summed up the results of the International Forum "Business Battle for Young Entrepreneurs Russia - China". Experts selected 8 out of 40 business projects, which were qualified for the final of the competition. Among the participants were USUE students.

The business battle between young entrepreneurs of Russia and China, which takes place in Yekaterinburg from October 26 to October 29, began at Ural State University of Economics with a business meeting between the USUE rector Yakov Silin and the head of the International Activity Department at the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Tatyana Seliverstova.

October 29, within the framework of the XII international research-to-practice conference "Decent Work - the Basis of a Stable Society", USUE hosted a plenary meeting "Personnel for New Industrialization" combined with the meeting of Commission on Competences and Qualifications Development of the Sverdlovsk Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs as planned by the business program of the national WorldSkills Hi-Tech - 2020 championship of cross-industry blue-collar occupations.

Participants in the Russia-China Business Battle for Young Entrepreneurs became acquainted with the traditions of business negotiations in China, learned about the mental characteristics of its citizens and the rules for enterprises entering Chinese markets.
