Today, a true professional, a man of science, professor at the Department of Financial Markets and Banking, Doctor of Economics Viktor Ivanitsky celebrates his 80th anniversary.

December 9, the international action "Test on the History of Fatherland" was held in all Russian regions and 40 countries. Participants were offered 40 minutes to answer 40 questions that covered the whole period of the country's history from 882 to the present day. The tasks for the test were compiled by leading scientists of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University named after. One could pass the test online at kdgr.rf or at specialized locations. One of such was Ural State University of Economics , where 115 people checked their knowledge.

Within four days, students of 11 groups of the USUE Institute of Management and Information Technologies took part in a master class in business at the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Vladimir Brylin, Rector of the Institute of Regional Development under the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Alexander Kondrashov, System Management Coach and Consultant, conducted classes for future managers, marketers, and IT specialists. Special attention was paid to business planning.

Recently, Ural State University of Economics hosted the regional interuniversity student roundtable (business game) on economic problems of a commercial enterprise. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics. The teams from three universities participated in the business game: USUE, Ural State University of Railway Transport (USURT) and Ural State Mining University (USMU).
