USUE hosted regional inter-university student roundtable on economic problems of a commercial enterprise
Recently, Ural State University of Economics hosted the regional interuniversity student roundtable (business game) on economic problems of a commercial enterprise. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics. The teams from three universities participated in the business game: USUE, Ural State University of Railway Transport (USURT) and Ural State Mining University (USMU).
The competitions of the teams were held in four stages, which checked both theoretical knowledge of issues related to economic problems of commercial enterprises and practical cases with analysis and economic justification for the proposed activities.
The members of the jury were faculty members of the USUE Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics V. Sharin, G. Savin, and L. Trofimova and representatives of other universities - L. Mochalov (USMU) and S. Bronnikov (USURT). The moderator and the host of the business game was Svetlana Tsaregorodtseva, associate professor at the USUE Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics.
Following the results, the teams were awarded the following places:
1 place - USUE ,
2 place - USMU,
3 place - USURT .
Besides the students were awarded diplomas in various categories: the most active player, the most sociable player, the most original answer, etc. In conclusion, the teams exchanged gifts that they prepared for their opponents in advance.
The participants noted that such events contribute to the uniting of young people, help to liberate and reveal personal qualities and allow to concentrate the theoretical knowledge received during training and apply them in practice.
