March 26, Ural State University of Economics gave schoolchildren, applicants and their parents a chance to feel like USUE students. About five hundred persons visited the University on the open day.

USUE students, having passed the competition, became members of the Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk region. Now it comprises 19 young people.

Eleven students of Ural State University of Economics won competitions to appoint special scholarships from RF President, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, and from the USUE Academic Council.

Two USUE international students performed the Russian anthem on their musical instruments.

March 18, USUE hosted the annual Univision song contest.
