Recipe for successful admission to USUE
March 26, Ural State University of Economics gave schoolchildren, applicants and their parents a chance to feel like USUE students. About five hundred persons visited the University on the open day.
The participants of the event were residents of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region, Perm Krai, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions. Individual consultations for those wishing to enter USUE were carried out by the specialists from Admissions Committee, representatives of USUE institutes, as well as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Teaching Methods and Quality of Training Dmitry Karkh, Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov, Vice-Rector for Research Viktor Kovalev, and Vice-Rector for Further Education and Career Guidance Elena Knyazeva.
They answered questions about the University and admission thereto. For ease of perception of information, USUE institutes prepared stands with a detailed description of areas of training. Not only future bachelors but also master’s students and graduates of colleges and technical schools had interest in admission.
At the open day, high school students could meet their future teachers and ask questions about training programs, the University, and extracurricular activities. It is worth reminding that USUE is famous not only for high-class graduates (economists, managers and analysts) but also for world-class athletes.
The choice of an area of training at USUE is very wide: in the bachelor’s degree, there are 28 areas of study, 38 specializations and 216 educational programs. In 2021, a new specialist’s degree program, Forensic Expertise, was launched in Jurisprudence. At the master’s level, USUE offers 26 educational programs in 11 areas of training, and 3 areas of training, and 18 educational programs at the postgraduate level. USUE College provides training in 6 specialties.
