USUE students in the Youth Government of the region
A USUE student and a master student became members of the sixth Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk region. This will help them realize their dreams of personal career and implement plans to improve the environment. The whole of 19 persons were handpicked.
A fourth-year student of the Department of Finance, Monetary Circulation and Credit of the USUE Institute of Economics and Finance, Elena Sedunova, was appointed to the post of Minister of Economy and Territorial Development. The girl, having showed an excellent knowledge of economic and financial matters, won the competition for membership in the sixth composition of the Youth Government of the region.
A master student of the USUE Department of Finance, Money Circulation and Credit, Pavel Letov, began his activities in the regional Youth Government in 2017, entering the talent pipeline. Until this January, for two years Pavel was Deputy Chairperson - Chief of Staff of the Youth Government. Having taken part in the current competition, he became the Minister of Education and Youth Policy.
It is worth reminding that the Youth Government functions as a “personnel lift” of the most talented, initiative, and professional people aged 18 to 35 for the government bodies. That is why they act as “duplicate” members of the Government of Sverdlovsk region.
