A delegation of USUE visited Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok. This university, supervised by the royal family, is the largest in Thailand and has about 300,000 students.

The meeting of the Eurasian Research Institute of Man took place at USUE. The theme of the meeting was "Water Resources of the Urals for Sustainable Development of the Region, Environmental Safety, and Public Health".

From May 15 to May 19, the national Russian Student Spring Festival was held in Stavropol, which attracted students from all over Russia for the 26th time. This year, 2700 students from 80 regions of our country showed their talents.

Many people are interested in the fate of the winners of the "Miss USUE" contest: whether they fall into the beauty industry or the competition becomes a part of student memories and no more. Someone would say that this is exactly what the status of university contests implies. Nevertheless, do not jump to conclusions. Ksenia Korobeinikova became the winner of the contest "Miss USUE-2012" under the maiden name Reshetnikova.

A presentation of the unique device "AND-15" was held at USUE. The automatic external defibrillator is intended for defibrillation of patients with sudden cardiac arrest while medical and pre-medical care, as well as for public and home use. The device was developed at the Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov.
