In 2021, the contest “Female Face of Science” arranged by the Russian Union of Young Scientists will be held in the Ural region for the fifth time! The awarding ceremony for the smartest girl in the Sverdlovsk region will take place in a solemn atmosphere on the eve of March 8.

The textbook The Budgetary System of the Russian Federation prepared by a team of authors from the USUE Department of Finance, Monetary Circulation, and Credit, edited by Natalya Aleksandrovna Istomina, Doctor of Economics, associate professor, and Yulia Sergeevna Dolganova, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor, has entered the top 50 regional publications according to the results of the competition "Best Books of the Year - 2019": TOP 50 BEST BOOKS OF REGIONAL PUBLISHERS held by the Association of Book Publishers of Russia in 2020.

Ural State University of Economics continues active preparation for the XI Eurasian Economic Youth Forum "Russia and Regions of the World: the Embodiment of Ideas and Economy of Opportunities." USUE Vice-rector for social work Roman Krasnov held a coordination meeting with representatives of USUE structural divisions and institutes on the organization of the main youth economic event in the Ural region. 

Ural State University of Economics hosted an international online conference dedicated to the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic for enterprises in Russia and Uzbekistan. The conference was organized jointly with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
