The staff of the Ural State University of Economics contributed to the process by demonstrating exceptional civic maturity. Over 99% of the university's employees fulfilled their civic duty during the early gubernatorial elections.

The central event was the adoption of a new Collective Agreement, which will govern social and labor relations at the university from January 1, 2026, to 2028.

At the Ural State University of Economics, staff from the Chinese Consulate General in Yekaterinburg advised Chinese students on how to live, study, and conduct themselves in the Ural capital and at the university.

Ural State University of Economics held events to celebrate Financier's Day. The event was organized by the Regional Center for Financial Literacy. The event included a plenary session, roundtable discussions, master classes, and lectures on financial literacy, financial culture and history, and cybersecurity.

Negotiations were held in Moscow between the leadership of the Ural State University of Economics and the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation. The meeting focused on summing up interim results and developing further steps to advance bilateral humanitarian and educational cooperation.
