USUE Vice-Rector for Continuing Education and Career Guidance, Doctor of Economics, Elena Knyazeva was recognized as the best in the category “Women - Leaders in Research and Education” of the competition “Women - Leaders of the Sverdlovsk Region” named after P.A. Stolypin.
For decades devoted to science, Elena Knyazeva was awarded many letters of gratitude and certificates of honor from ministries and organizations at the regional and federal levels. Besides, in 2018, Doctor Elena Knyazeva was awarded a small silver badge of the Sverdlovsk region, and in 2022 - a medal “For merits in the development of entrepreneurship in the Sverdlovsk region.”
Elena Knyazeva considers her victory in the P.A. Stolypin competition “Women - Leaders of the Sverdlovsk Region”, first of all, as the victory of women scientists of Ural State University of Economics.
“First of all, this is an assessment of the contribution of Ural State University of Economics and the role played by women in the economic, social and political aspects of both the Sverdlovsk region and Russia as a whole,” USUE Vice-Rector for Continuing Education and Career Guidance, Elena Knyazeva, said after the awards ceremony. “The presentation of the award is a kind of advance for the development of cooperation with the business community of the region. We invited the contestants - winners and laureates - to participate in the ‘Entrepreneurial Classes’ project. We would like the schools of Pervouralsk, Kamensk-Uralsky, and other cities of the Middle Urals to know what achievements women have in each municipality. In this way, we will set a good example for the younger generation, we will show what one could achieve by working even in small settlements. "
Competition named after P.A. Stolypin “Women - Leaders of the Sverdlovsk Region - 2023” was organized by the Union of Small and Medium Businesses of the Sverdlovsk region with the support of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The purpose of the competition is to identify and support best initiatives, projects and practices created or implemented by women, to popularize and share positive experience. In July 2023, victory in the category “Women - Leaders in Manufacturing” was won by the director of the USUE Unified Laboratory Complex, Natalya Kolberg . She developed and introduced into production an immunomodulator that helps combat cancer.
