15 USUE STUDENTS BECAME SCHOLARS OF SVERDLOVSK REGION GOVERNOR

We congratulate our students and postgraduates on the awarding of a scholarship from the Sverdlovsk Region Governor. In 2020, 15 USUE students will receive a regional award for academic and scientific achievements.

In total, more than 500 applications from colleges and universities of the Sverdlovsk Region were sent to receive the Governor scholarship and 223 of them were selected by the Sverdlovsk Governor Scholarship Council. More than 40 experts - representatives of scientific organizations, higher and secondary educational institutions - were included in the competition committee.

The requirements for candidates for the Governor Scholarship are high: students must be on the honor roll in all subjects during the academic year preceding the award of the scholarship, as well as make great strides  in research activities.

Yuri Biktuganov, Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region, said: “The scholarship of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region is regional support for students in the system of professional education, including higher education. This practice has been implemented since 1996, and we continue to work in this regard. Our task is to identify talented young researchers and support them.”

Leila Askerova, a student of the Institute of Economics;

Anna Myakenkaya, a student of the Institute of Economics;

Vladimir Sabirov, a student of the Institute of Economics;

Taisiya Makeeva, a student of the Institute of Trade, Food Technologies and Services;

Polina Kolosova, a student of the Institute of Trade, Food Technologies and Services;

Anastasia Churakova, a student of the Institute of Trade, Food Technologies and Services;

Anton Nazarov, a postgraduate student of the Institute of Management and Information Technologies; 

Jamilya Sangova, a student of the Institute of Management and Information Technologies;

Svetlana Samoilova, a student of the Institute of Management and Information Technologies;

Roman Galygin, a student of the Institute of Finance and Law;

Maria Kokorina, a student of the Institute of Finance and Law;

Alina Zhilina, a student of the Institute of Finance and Law.

Hard work of students and postgraduates with the support of the teaching staff and the well-coordinated work of the USUE Academic Services Office have resulted in joint success. We are proud of our students and postgraduates!
