AN UNPRECEDENTED NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS REGISTERED FOR XII EEYF
An unprecedented number of contestants, experts and guests have registered for the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum - 8150 persons! The XII EEYF “Russia and the World in New Realities: Changing World Economic Relations” will bring together young scientists and students from 89 countries and 76 regions of Russia.
The amount of contestants of the XII EEYF has reached 5593 persons. The number of forum experts is still growing: up to date - 772 persons (for them, the registration will continue until April 15).
The XII EEYF will further be richer in guests from higher educational institutions: 149 universities of Russia, CIS and far-abroad countries confirmed participation of their delegations in the forum, in particular - in the Council of Rectors, an important event of the EEYF, during which the executives of academic institutions discuss hot issues and outline a joint course for future development.
Over 1780 VIP-guests will stay at the XII EEYF, including 57 delegates of diplomatic missions.
From 26 to 29 April, Ural State Economic University and Ekaterinburg-EXPO will host forum events in a combined online and offline format: 45 competitions within 6 congresses, exhibitions and public lectures, a plenary session, Dialogue on Equal Terms (a meeting of students with diplomats), Friendship Ball, and Friendship Alley action - a joint planting of trees on the territories of USUE and universities - co-organizers, acting as international sites for the XII EEYF.
For comparison, in 2021, 5 796 persons from 64 countries and 74 Russian regions visited the XI EEYF, of which 3 906 were participants in the competitive program. 106 university delegations participated in the last year’s forum. Among the VIP-guests of the XI EEYF, “Russia and the Regions of the World: Embodiment of Ideas and Economy of Opportunities,” were 39 diplomats. There were 42 contests. All that forum events were held at USUE.
