No development without digitalization

Today, USUE rector Yakov Silin takes part in the thematic sessions “Digital Development as the Key to Efficient Integration,” and “Development of Network Interaction Forms of in Implementing Higher Education Programs” of the Eurasian Economic Forum, which is currently taking place in Bishkek (Republic of Kyrgyzstan). Its topic is “Eurasian economic integration in an era of global change development. New opportunities for investment activity.”

The Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek is a platform for interaction between representatives of business community, government authorities, academic circles, and pundit quarters on the development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), entrepreneurial activity on the territory of the EAEU, and strengthening international relations. In some respects, we can consider the EEF a continuation of the XII EEYF, since many participants of the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum are present at the Eurasian Economic Forum today. Among them there are Osh State Law Institute, Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz State Economic University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after Zh. Abdrakhmanov. The delegates of these universities continue to discuss issues of the common educational environment.

The program of the forum includes six panel discussions, which discuss the prospects for the strategic development of Eurasian integration, the economic stability of EAEU member states, issues of industrial production and agro-industrial complex, energy, transport infrastructure, and digitalization.

USUE rector Yakov Silin took part in the panel discussion “Digital Agenda of the EAEU 2.0” (in the thematic session ‘Digital Development as the Key to Efficient Integration’), where they talked about the impact of digitalization on our lives. All participants agreed that the world was changing rapidly, and it was necessary to follow global trends, rethink managerial decisions, and expand IT capabilities.

In Bishkek, with the participation of the rector of Ural State University Yakov Silin, a discussion on digitalization is taking place.
