THE FUTURE COULD NOT BE POSTPONED: OPEN DAY WAS HELD IN A NEW FORMAT

The situation in the country and the world dictates new forms of interaction with the audience, but USUE does not stop its work. Today, for the first time, an Open Day was held online.

In connection with Decree No. 206 of the RF President dated March 25, 2020 "On the announcement of non-working days in the Russian Federation" and order No. 484 of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated March 25, 2020, the university closed its doors for visits until April 6. Nevertheless, life has not paused, the future cannot be postponed, and to plan it one must have appropriate information. To this end, on March 29, as previously announced, USUE management held an Open Day, but only online.

For an hour and a half, Rector Yakov Silin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Teaching Methods and Quality of Training Dmitry Karkh, Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov, and the head of the Office for Admission and Pre-University Training Irina Martyanova answered questions of applicants on air. Future students wrote from Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Pervouralsk, Novouralsk, Ivdel, Shadrinsk, Yekaterinburg, Bishkek, Nur- Sultan, and Karaganda. The Admission Board had begun to collect questions related to upcoming University admission in advance: from Rezh, Nur- Sultan, Karaganda, Uralsk, Nizhny Tagil, Berezovsky, Sosva, Satka, Revda, and many other cities.
