The admission campaign has started!
The official start of the Admissions campaign - 2023 has been given. The solemn ceremony of the start of the work of the admissions committee took place in the hall of the main building of the university.
USUE Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work and Quality of Education Dmitry Karkh and Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee - Director of the USUE Institute for Strategic Planning and Financial Analysis Maxim Maramygin cut the red ribbon to the sound of the Russian anthem.
And Irina Martyanova, head of the Office for Admissions and Pre-University Training of USUE, explained the algorithm of actions to the applicants.
In the first hour of the admission committee, several dozen applicants submitted documents for admission, they personally came to the university. Also, members of the commission registered several applications online - the documents were submitted through the State Services portal. Together with teachers and staff of the university, more than 40 student volunteers who have undergone special training work in the admission committee. Throughout the summer, while the campaign is going on, they will help applicants fill out documents, answer questions and do everything to make their acquaintance with USUE as pleasant as possible for them.
“I remember very well how worried I was when I submitted the documents myself. There were also many questions, - Elizaveta Ryabina, a second-year student of the Institute of State, Municipal Administration and Law of USUE, shares her memories. - So now I am returning the karmic debt - I help others. In addition, this is a great opportunity to practice communication skills.”
Applicants come to USUE from different cities of Russia and foreign countries. Everyone has their own story and their own goals. And everyone agrees that higher education is necessary to implement the plans. For example, Maria Guryanova works as a senior nurse in the pediatric department of one of the children's hospitals in Yekaterinburg. She is going to study by correspondence in the field of "Health Economics" in order to be able to apply for higher positions.
Another entrant, Andre Marculino Feliz, has grandiose plans. He came to the Urals from the distant African country of Angola, graduated from the preparatory department of USUE, mastered the Russian language and is now ready to study commercial business as a bachelor. According to Andre, there are not enough specialists in this field in his homeland. Therefore, having received a USUE diploma and returning home, he will become a welcome employee in any local commercial company.
“This is only the first stage,” Andre shares his plans for the future. “In general, I want to become the president of my country. This is what education is for, to set such global goals.”
