To keep its word - this is about USUE!

The main topics of the negotiations were the attraction of new students from Tajikistan to USUE and the expansion of cooperation between the university and Tajik colleagues.

As Yakov Silin noted at the beginning of the meeting, the number of students from the Republic of Tajikistan at USUE is growing every year. This year was no exception, despite a number of innovations.

“This year admissions campaign is short. It ends on the 20th of August. The rules have changed. All admissions for all modes of study should be finished by August 20. Therefore, we warned our colleagues from Tajikistan that if someone wants to enter USUE, it doesn’t matter if he lives here or in his homeland, he has to keep up,” USUE rector said.

In turn, the president of the regional public organization Tajik diaspora "Didor", Mastbegim Oshurbekova, and First Deputy Chairman of the District Public Council at the Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg, Yakubzhan Umarov, thanked Yakov Silin for the prompt implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zafar Sayidzoda, and a working group of the Tajik government at USUE .

Yakov Petrovich, thank you for inviting me to the meeting so quickly, despite the fact that we had a preliminary agreement just about, at the beginning of August,” Yakubzhan Umarov said.

“USUE is always open to cooperation and strict implementation of agreements is our obligatory, holy principle,” the rector of the university noted, “especially since we have a lot in common with Tajikistan, even the Higher Attestation Commission.”

As part of the previously reached agreements, the parties also discussed preparations for the joint holding of Navruz next year, a secular spring holiday.

To date, 50 students from Tajikistan study at USUE, and the university itself has strong scientific, humanitarian and business ties with 7 universities of the Republic. In particular, USUE has cooperation agreements with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik State University of Commerce, the Tajik National University, the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics , and Khujand Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi.
