A delegation of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Azygaliev paid a friendly visit to USUE.
USUE Rector Yakov Silin introduced Nurlanbek Azygaliev to the history of Ural State University of Economics, spoke about the cooperation of USUE with higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic and invited him to take part in the upcoming 14th Eurasian Economic Youth Forum to be held from April 22 to 26.
Ural State University of Economics takes an active part in joining the educational potential of Yekaterinburg and Bishkek.
As of today, USUE has entered into cooperation agreements with 13 universities in Kyrgyzstan. About 70 students who are natives of Kyrgyzstan study at the university, and the development of joint educational programs including double-degree ones is underway. In 2022 and 2023, M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University and Osh State University were national platforms for the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Rector Yakov Silin is an honorary professor at the Kyrgyz Economic University, Osh State Law Institute and Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev.
“Year by year, relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan become stronger: the leaders of our countries actively cooperate, professional and interaction in education develop. The history of friendship between our peoples cannot be rewritten!” Yakov Silin emphasized.
Besides, at the university, they organized a meeting for Nurlanbek Azygaliev with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, the participants of which were employees of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Yekaterinburg, students, and social activists living in the Urals.
