The official opening of the Youth Urban Festival at USUE

This event resulted in an agreement on cooperation signed by the USUE rector Yakov Silin and Veronika Nikulina, head of the Creative Industries department of the Urban Renovations organization.

The parties noted that they would like to make Urban-Fest regular and attract major Ural companies to participate in the event. Yakov Silin emphasized that the University will continue to cooperate with Rosmolodezh with pleasure, both in the Urban-fest and in other projects.

“There is no need to point the finger at other countries. We live here on Russian soil. This is our Motherland, and it is we who have to change it! Thank you for your interest in the festival, I am sure that it will be interesting and fruitful and will open new horizons in your life. You will have the opportunity to offer something new that you and your community need, the opportunity to influence the environment. Go for it and remember: we are together, and together we will go to the future!" USUE Rector Yakov Silin addressed the participants of the Urban-fest with a welcoming speech.

The youth Urban-Festival is held at USUE with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region. From 5 to 8 October, the festival will bring together about 100 young architects, designers, urbanists, sociologists, ecologists, and starting specialists of public administrations..
