The organizing committee at Ural State University of Economics has begun preparations for the 17th EEYF scheduled for 2027. Over the years, the forum's participants—including students, scientists, experts, and diplomats—have evolved into a true community of friends united by shared ideas and projects. The organizers are currently exploring the "Forum of Friends" concept, which will serve as the foundational theme for the upcoming event.

As per tradition, the forum will act as the primary communication platform for fostering collaboration among talented youth, young scientists, and researchers from dozens of countries, alongside experts and officials of the diplomatic corps. The spotlight will once again be on scientific and practical developments dedicated to addressing current economic and social challenges.
Currently, the organizing committee is actively developing the program and designing competition assignments for six key tracks: Schoolchildren Congress, Digital Eurasia, Congress of Management and Law, Congress of Economists and Financiers, Congress of Entrepreneurship and Engineering, and Congress of Strategists.
The history of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, organized by Ural State University of Economics, dates back to 2009. Since then, the forum has remained a pivotal platform for talented youth, continuously expanding its scale. The 16th EEYF, held from April 21 to 24, 2026, became the largest in the event's history. It brought together participants from 87 Russian regions and 117 countries. Delegations from 217 universities across Russia, CIS countries, and further abroad arrived in Yekaterinburg. The forum welcomed 92 representatives of diplomatic missions, with 31 nations represented at the ambassadorial level. In total, the event featured 42 competitions and received 15,828 project submissions.
