Where are the best salespeople trained?” USUE topped the rating of Ural universities
Ural State University of Economics topped the list of Ural universities, whose graduates become the most efficient and effective salespeople.
The rating was done by the Center for Labor Market Research commissioned by DK.RU on the basis of estimates of more than 400 active employers of Yekaterinburg. Heads of large firms evaluated their employees on financial results and efficiency in sales.
It is noted that several factors were evaluated during the rating: the growth of incomes of candidates under the age of 30 reported by employers over the past two years, the speed of taking a managerial position in sales, and the evaluation of their achievements.
As a result, the leaders of the rating were USUE and UrFU. The second place was taken by USMU, the third place - by the Russian State Pedagogical University and Humanities University.
The secret for a university, which trains future successful "salespeople ", is not so much the content of training as how to help form certain personal competencies among students. It is these competences which will then provide a basis for self-education of future successful specialists.
"This is a very difficult task, and universities are still managing this process poorly. Here the question is in creating a certain atmosphere, although there is some progress, and there are obvious results,” Natalia Degtyareva, HR director of Alta trading company, comments.
As experts say, due to the huge deficit of salespeople, employers are increasingly placing their stake on universities that have distinguished themselves in training such specialists.
