USUE FOREIGN STUDENTS BEAT BOREDOM AND MONOTONY!

Following the orders of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated March 14, 2020 "On the organization of educational activities at organizations implementing higher education programs" and No. 545 dated 02.04.2020 "On measures provided for by RF President’s Decree No. 239 to be implemented by higher education institutions" USUE foreign students are given all the opportunities to receive training online.

Students view lectures directly in their rooms. All of them have laptops or desktop computers with an Internet connection. Students continue to study according to the usual timetable, but remotely. Many of them believe that training has become even more efficient because thanks to electronic communications it has become easier to get advice or help from a teacher. It has become more difficult to organize leisure, but students are inventive people, and they are not going to be bored.

Activists of Student Trade Union Bureau of the USUE Institute of Finance and Law launched social media hashtag #изоляция_с_пользой_usue and made up a checklist "21 jobs in a lockdown" - a list of useful jobs that need to be done before the end of lockdown. Among them, there are a sleep that students so often lack, training sessions, communication with relatives and friends, computer games and others. At USUE dormitories, no one is going to be in the blues since a lockdown is a great chance to diversify the usual student leisure, for example, by shifting the furniture in the room.
