Sincere greetings on the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Uzbekistan independence

On September 7, there was a video conference between the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) and USUE. An online meeting of rectors, vice-rectors, and heads of institutes and departments of universities was dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and Independence Day of Uzbekistan.

The meeting began with an exchange of greetings from USUE rector Yakov Silin and TSUE rector Kongratboy Sharipov. Yakov Silin, on behalf of the USUE team, thanked his colleagues for good promising cooperation and congratulated the Tashkent side on the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, saying: “I am sincerely glad to see you. It is nice that distance does not interfere with our good friendly cooperation. I am happy to observe colleagues from different countries: from Austria, Turkey, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, and others. We are present here, representing our University, on the one hand, and Ural region and Russia, on the other. I would like to thank you so much on behalf of our University for the fruitful work over the course of several years. Today, 600 students are successfully studying under our joint programs. I also thank your colleagues and students who took an active part in one of the largest economic scientific forums in the field of education in Russia - the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. I convey the best wishes from the staff of Ural State University of Economics in connection with the 30th anniversary of your state independence. "

Yakov Silin reminded that for the third year USUE and TSUE had been implementing a serious joint "double degree project." Under it, Tashkent bachelor students simultaneously studied in Yekaterinburg, at USUE, and, upon graduation, they will receive two diplomas: Russian - at USUE and Uzbek - at TSUE.

Kongratboy Sharipov, in turn, emphasized that the administration of TSUE pays special attention to the implementation of the double degree program between USUE and TSUE. “Over the three years of the program implementation, the teaching staff has carried out huge educational, research-to-practice, and honest work,” TSUE rector said.

TSUE students also took part in the online event: they read poems about their native country and sang songs in Uzbek and Russian. The participants of the meeting were shown a video congratulation with a song from USUE students.

The meeting ended with the words: We do not say goodbye, but "See you next time!"
