On October 7, the Dissertation Council 24.2.425.02 (Economic Sciences), established at Ural State University of Economics, held the defense of Alisa Yuryevna Titovets’ dissertation for the Candidate of Science degree entitled “The Influence of Informatization on developing a Regional Economic System.”

The dissertation was written at the USUE Department of Regional and Municipal Economics and Management in the scientific specialty 5.2.3. (Regional and Sectoral Economics (Regional Economics)) under the scientific supervision of Doctor of Economics, Professor Natalia Yuryevna Vlasova.

In her dissertation, Alisa Titovets proposed her own methodological approach to studying the impact of informatization on developing regional economic systems, which includes both an assessment of the level of informatization development and an assessment of the response of regional economic systems to the informatization factor.

The practical significance of the dissertation research lies in the possibility of using the developed methodological and applied provisions and results by government and administrative bodies at various levels in the development of strategic planning documents, for identifying, monitoring, differentiating and adjusting federal and regional policies on the development of regional economic systems, considering their response to the informatization factor.

The main provisions and conclusions, as well as practical recommendations contained in the dissertation research, were used in the activities of the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of the Sverdlovsk region, the Yekaterinburg Administration, and were introduced into the educational process of Ural State University of Economics.
We congratulate Alisa Yuryevna on successful defending of her dissertation and wish her to stay strong in the pursuit of her goals and to soar to new heights in her career growth!
